Product description
Omp Basil (katunkuma) , also known as bitter berries or African eggplant (Solanum anguivi), are tiny, highly nutritious, and bitter fruits widely consumed in Uganda, particularly among the Baganda community. They are typically eaten as a steamed side dish or sauce, and are known for their health-promoting properties. Due to their perishability, they are also sold dried or as a powder to extend their shelf life.
